Requirements
This is an analogue project and computers are only allowed for sourcing and not designing. Collate old magazines, newspapers, your own photography, type design and illustrations to source your visual material. The more you have, the more material you have to work with. You will also need scissors, a scalpel, spary-mount, pens, A3 paper and a mobile with a camera.
Description
This project is about inspiration in its basic form. The process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative.
This project is about “New Ways of Seeing”. We advise you not to be literal and to work abstractly with colours and shapes. Your work should not communicate a message, but be aesthetically pleasing on the eye.
The Brief
Follow this pattern: Collate, Make, Organise, Edit and Design. Create hundreds of different outcomes once you have done this you should select your favourite pieces. Create an edit and start designing your publication. The booklet must be visually interesting. The illustrators must use illustrations/mark-making in each of their outcomes.
